LONDON (Alliance News) - Nighthawk Energy PLC said gross oil production in August was 1,661 barrels per day at its Colorado projects, a record month for the firm.
The oil development-and-production firm said the average realised price in August was USD97 per barrel, while its fourth-quarter drilling programme will include both production and exploration wells.
A number of new drilling permits are being progressed, and subject to final confirmation of these and the drilling rig contract, Nighthawk anticipates further development of Arikaree Creek, Colorado, will commence in mid-October 2013, ahead of schedule.
Nighthawk shares were trading at 9.56 pence Friday morning, down 6.7%.
