(Alliance News) - Nexteq PLC on Friday secured its first customer win and initial software licence purchase order for its newly launched gaming software platform, Launchpad.
The Crawley, England-based technology solutions provider said the order, from an established Asian game developer that is new to its Quixant brand, included Launchpad software licence together with its gaming hardware computing platforms.
The customer will use Launchpad to support the deployment of its land-based gaming content into a new market, which is expected to start in the second half of 2026 and will lead to ongoing software revenue.
Nexteq said the board believes the new relationship has the potential to become a USD1 million-per-year revenue customer, combining recurring software income with hardware sales.
"We are delighted to secure our first Launchpad customer so soon after its official launch," said Chief Executive Officer Duncan Faithfull.
"This initial order highlights the strength of our unique integrated hardware and software offering and demonstrates the commercial opportunity created by expanding into software-led solutions."
Shares in Nexteq were up 1.9% at 76.00 pence on Friday afternoon in London.
