LONDON (Alliance News) - NextEnergy Solar Fund Ltd Friday said it has signed a share purchase agreement to acquire the Croydon solar power plant in Cambridgeshire, England in a deal worth up to GBP17.8 million.
The company said it signed the agreement to acquire the special purpose vehicle that owns the 16.5 megawatts peak power plant, which was connected to the power grid at the start of March, it said.
NextEnergy said it has now acquired 15 assets with a total of 171.3 megawatts peak and a total investment value of GBP197 million.
No other details regarding the deal were revealed.
