(Alliance News) - Next Fifteen Communications Group PLC said Wednesday in advance of its annual general meeting that trading at the start of its financial year was in line with management expectations.
The digital communications firm said in April it had made changes, which involved the merger of Next Fifteen's Text and Bite agencies and their relaunch under the Archetype brand in the UK and US in February.
However Next Fifteen said it does not expects the results from those changes to be felt until the second half of its year ending January 2020.
Looking ahead, the group remains confident in its prospects for the year.
In addition, Next Fifteen said it has appointed Helen Hunter as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Hunter is currently chief data officer at FTSE 100 retailer J Sainsbury PLC, and has been for a year since 2018.
At the same time, Senior Independent Director Genevieve Shore will step down in order to move on to not-for-profit organisations.
For this reason she is stepping down from other non-executive roles, including one at price comparison website MoneySupermarket.com Group PLC with effect on July 31.
She has been part of Next Fifteen for four years since 2015, and MoneySupermarket.com for five years since 2014.
"Genevieve has made a real contribution to Next 15. We have benefited greatly from her wealth of experience, challenge and sense of humour. She leaves with our greatest appreciation and warmest wishes for her future works," said Next Fifteen Chair Richard Eyre.
"We are delighted to welcome Helen to the board. Her expertise as an exceptional leader in data management and customer relationships lies in the intersection of data, technology and creativity, areas at the heart of Next 15’s strategy," Eyre added.
