LONDON (Alliance News) - Next PLC Thursday confirmed that Amanda James will succeed longstanding Finance Director David Keens on April 1, bringing an end to the 24 years he has spent in the role.
In a statement, the FTSE 100 retailer said that Keens will step down from the board on April 1 and leave the group in May. He has spent 29 years at Next in total.
Keens' upcoming departure and the the selection of James as his successor was announced by the UK clothing and homeware retailer in May 2014.
James is the current finance director of NEXT Brands. She has been at Next for 19 years.
Next will report annual results on March 19.
Next shares were up 0.8% at 7,420.00 pence on Thursday.
