(Alliance News) - Next 15 Group PLC on Tuesday confirmed in response to press speculation that it is in talks to explore the potential disposal of several of its brands.
Sky News on Monday reported that the private equity firm Epiris, which owns the Big Table restaurant brand group, has approached Next 15 about a deal.
Epiris's offer included Next 15 subsidiaries MHP Communications, a leading financial public relations firm, according to Sky News.
The London-based digital marketing firm Next 15 said its "primary focus" is on maximising shareholder value.
The group said the discussions are to explore the terms of a potential disposal of a "selected number of its brands", in line with its strategy to simplify and strengthen the business.
The company said there is "no certainty that any agreement will be reached, nor as to the terms of any such agreement".
Next 15 said it will only consider the sale of its brands if a "transaction meets its minimum value thresholds and which adequately reflects the strengths and prospects of those brands."
Next 15 said it will provide further updates on the talks "as appropriate".
Shares in Next 15 fell 3.1% to 389.50 pence on Tuesday afternoon in London.
