LONDON (Alliance News) - New World Oil & Gas PLC on Friday said it has secured a 12-month extension to the production sharing agreement for the Blue Creek project in Belize.
The agreement had been due to expire at the end of this month, but has been extended to the end of October 2016.
"We are delighted to have secured a 12 month extension to the group's Blue Creek PSA as it gives us the opportunity to continue our current negotiations with potential partners on continuing operations," said Chairman Christopher Einchcomb.
