(Alliance News) - C&C Group PLC on Tuesday confirmed that David Forde will take over as chief executive on November 2.
The FTSE 250-listed drinks manufacturer & distributor had previously said that Forde would join the company at the latest in early 2021 from brewer Heineken NV, where he has served as managing director of Heineken UK for the past seven years.
Along with becoming CEO, Forde will also join C&C as an executive director on November 2. With Forde's appointment, Stewart Gilliland will revert to the role of non-executive chair.
Forde will join two months after Strategy Director Patrick McMahon takes over as chief financial officer. McMahon will succeed Jonathan Solesbury, who is retiring on September 1.
Shares in C&C were up 1.4% at 222.50 pence in London on Tuesday morning.
