LONDON (Alliance News) - NetScientific PLC said Wednesday its US division Nanopore-II has secured a research programme in DNA sequencing with an undisclosed US research institute.
NetScientific said that DNA sequencing is a fast-growing, valuable and competitive field. It noted that feedback from the US Patent Office on initial filings from the programme has been encouraging.
No financial details of the programme were disclosed.
Shares in NetScientific are untraded Wednesday. It last traded at 153.75 pence.
