(Alliance News) - NetScientific PLC on Friday said it hired former partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers John Clarkson as a non-executive director, effective immediately.
The healthcare investment firm also announced the resignation of Barry Wilson as a non-executive director.
Clarkson previously served as vice chair of clothing and homeware retailer Laura Ashley Inc. and as director at Recycling Technologies Ltd, a Swindon, Wiltshire-based plastic recycling firm.
NetScientific Chair Richard Sykes said: "We would like to thank Barry for his significant contributions to the company. He has provided great strategic insight and direction during his time on the board and we wish him well for his future. At the same time, we are delighted to welcome John. His commercial experience will be extremely valuable as the Company continues to drive value for its shareholders."
Shares in NetScientific were trading 14.7% lower at 5.12 pence per share on Friday afternoon in London.
