LONDON (Alliance News) - Interactive gaming company Netplay TV PLC on Monday said it has withdrawn from talks with fellow listed gaming firm Sportech PLC about acquiring the latter's Football Pools business.
Netplay TV said it had entered preliminary talks to acquire the assets in December, but said it has now decided to withdraw from the process after Sportech said it had received a number of indicative proposals for the business.
As a result, Netplay TV shares will be restored to trading, having been suspended previously as the deal would have constituted a reverse takeover.
