LONDON (Alliance News) - Telecommunications software company Netcall PLC on Thursday said it has had a positive start to its current financial year and said it has secured a contract with an unnamed local authority in the UK.
Netcall Chairman Michael Jackson, speaking ahead of its annual general meeting, said trading in its current financial year to the end of June 2016 had been good, with total sales order values significantly ahead year-on-year.
He added a growing proportion of revenue was being derived from recurring software-as-a-service contracts, which enhance its revenue visibility.
"Our significant levels of recurring revenue combined with a strong order inflow and a continuously expanding product suite give the board confidence in achieving a successful outcome for the full year," said Jackson.
Netcall also announced on Thursday it has won a five-year SaaS contract worth GBP400,000 with an unnamed local authority for its Liberty Customer Experience Manager platform.
Shares in Netcall were up 4.9% to 54.00 pence on Thursday morning.
