Netcall Backs Outlook As Revenue Rises In First Half But Earnings Fall

29th Jan 2019 12:07

LONDON (Alliance News) - Netcall PLC on Tuesday said it saw revenue growth in the first half of its financial year, boosted by higher demand for its cloud products, though earnings are set to fall.

The customer engagement software provider said it expects to report revenue of GBP11.4 million in the six months to the end of December 2018, up 6.5% from GBP10.7 million reported a year earlier.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization is expected to come in at GBP2.0 million, down 26% from GBP2.7 million reported in the first half of its 2018 financial year.

Cloud and product bookings in the period increased by 96% year-on-year to GBP5.2 million, while total annual contract value rose by 10% year-on-year to GBP15.1 million.

"This was driven by strong growth in low-code sales, increasing the forward visibility of our revenue," explained Chief Executive Henrik Bang.

"We are trading in line with our expectations for the year," added Bang.

Netcall intends to publish its interim results on March 5.

Shares in the company were down 1.6% at 31.00 pence on Tuesday.
