LONDON (Alliance News) - Nektan PLC Thursday said that is has received approval for both a software and gaming licence for the UK market from the UK Gambling Commission.
Since new regulation was introduced in the UK in 2014, the B2B gaming platform and content provider has been operating under a Gibraltar continuation licence for UK facing gaming services, it said.
"We are pleased to have received approval for both a software and gaming licence, which allows Nektan to operate our platform for our partners under a local licence in the UK market. The UK is the largest gaming market in Europe and remains a key focus for our continued growth," Chief Executive David Gosen said in a statement.
Shares in Nektan were trading up 7% at 175.00 pence early Thursday.
