LONDON (Alliance News) - Ncondezi Energy Limited Monday said its Environmental Social Impact Assessment has been approved for the Ncondezi power plant, part of the company's 300MW Ncondezi project in Mozambique.
The integrated thermal-coal mining company said the nation's Ministry for Coordination of Environmental Action approved the assessment, and the company will now commence the application process for an environmental permit.
The company said its environmental permit application is targeted for submission and public consultation in the first quarter 2014.
Ncondezi shares were down 1.5% to 11.20 pence Monday midday.
