LONDON (Alliance News) - Ncondezi Energy Limited Thursday said it has launched the engineering, procurement and construction contract binding proposals process for Boiler Units at its Ncondezi project.
The thermal coal producer, with operations in Mozambique, said it received 16 bids from power plant EPC firms and a shortlist of seven firms have been selected to tender in a final proposals process.
Ncondezi said the qualified bidders are expected to submit a fixed price lump sum turnkey contract for the commissioning of two 150 megawatt power plant boiler units in the first quarter 2014.
The company also said it expects to choose the preferred EPC firm in the first quarter 2014.
Ncondezi shares were down 2.2% to 11.00 pence Thursday.
