LONDON (Alliance News) - Closed-end investment company NB Private Equity Partners Ltd said Tuesday its net asset value per share increased during the first half of 2016, and said it has identified a number of future attractive investments for its portfolio.
NB Private Equity said its NAV per share increased to USD14.61 from USD14.35 in December 2015, which the company said was driven by investment gains and portfolio yield income. Year-to-date NAV per share total return was 3.6%.
NB Private Equity completed ten new equity investments and six new income investments in the first six months of 2016, totaling USD78.5 million.
The group said while many areas of the market remain competitive, there are a number of near-term opportunities which may be attractive investments for the portfolio. NB Private Equity said its current investment pipeline remains strong.
Shares in NB Private Equity were untraded Tuesday morning, having last traded at USD10.35.
