(Alliance News) - NatWest Group PLC on Tuesday said it has priced a GBP1.00 billion tier 1 notes issue.
The contingent convertible additional tier 1 capital notes carry a 5.125% interest rate, the lender noted.
Proceeds will be used for "general corporate purposes and to strengthen further NWG's capital base or the capital base of NWG's subsidiaries", the company said.
Shares in NatWest closed 2.8% higher at 141.65 pence each in London on Tuesday.
