LONDON (Alliance News) - National Grid PLC on Tuesday said Steve Holliday will step down as its chief executive in 2016 and will be replaced by John Pettigrew.
The FTSE 100-listed group, which manages the UK's power grid, said Holliday will remain the chief executive until the end of the current financial year in March 2016 and will stay with the company until July 2016 to ensure a smooth transition.
Pettigrew is currently the executive director of the group's UK operations and has been with the company for 25 years.
