LONDON (Alliance News) - Nanoco Group PLC on Wednesday said commissioning of the Cheonan quantum-dot facility in South Korea has started.
The facility is being built by Nanoco's partner, The Dow Chemical Co, and customer sampling is set to start during the third quarter of 2015.
"We are pleased with the progress that Dow has made in the construction of the cadmium-free quantum dot plant in South Korea. Orders for cadmium-free quantum dots will continue to be satisfied from Nanoco's production facility in Runcorn, UK, until the time that the Cheonan plant enters commercial production," said Nanoco Chief Executive Michael Edelman.
Nanoco shares were up 1.3% to 95.25 pence on Wednesday morning.
