LONDON (Alliance News) - Majestic Wine PLC on Tuesday said it has launched a Naked Wines click-and-collect service in the UK, allowing customers to collect their orders from Naked Wine free-of-charge in Majestic stores.
Majestic acquired Naked Wines in a GBP70 million deal back in April and named Rowan Gormley, Naked's founder and chief executive, to head up the combined group as chief executive officer.
"Access to a national store network was one of the clear benefits for Naked Wines following the acquisition by Majestic, and it is great that we've been able to launch this service to Naked Wines' customers so quickly. It is obvious to me that both businesses have much to offer one another and we are working on optimising even more of the complementary strengths between the two," Gormley said.
Shares in Majestic were up 2.4% to 432.00 pence on Tuesday.
