LONDON (Alliance News) - AIM-listed recruitment company Nakama Group PLC Wednesday said it is in preliminary talks with two companies about a potential takeover offer for the company.
In a statement, it said talks are taking place with Talent International Holdings Pty Ltd and The Rethink Group PLC. The companies have until February 19 to say they intend to make a firm offer for Nakama or walk away.
Nakama didn't provide any other details.
Its shares shot higher on the news, and were up 76.5% at 3.75 pence Wednesday morning, the highest price since it listed in 2011. It had a market capitalisation of GBP2.5 million at the close of trade Tuesday.
