LONDON (Alliance News) - MySQUAR Ltd on Thursday said it has fully launched the game ChakraNinja, while its CallHome application was soft-launched earlier this week.
The Myanmar-based mobile app developer said it expects its ChakraNinja game, which is based on Japanese manga comic character Naruto, to benefit from the existing user base of other games and the chat and social networking application of MySQUAR.
MySQUAR said it plans to release new "hardcore games" in February and March and a platform of multiple "casual games" in mid-January.
Meanwhile, the group said its CallHome VoIP application, or Voice over Internet Protocol application, has the potential to "become a major revenue earner", following its soft-launch this week.
"The service can dramatically reduce the cost of calls compared with traditional call methods, particularly for the millions of Myanmar people calling home from overseas," MySQUAR CEO Eric Schaer said.
"These new product launches are an excellent way to end this year and enter 2017 and underline our commitment to keep pushing towards rapid monetisation," Schaer added.
Shares in MySQUAR were up 3.1% at 1.67 pence on Thursday.
