(Alliance News) - Asia Pacific-focused online retailer MySale Group PLC on Monday announced the appointment of Twentieth Century Fox finance executive Mats Weiss as chief financial officer.
Weiss's appointment is effective immediately, MySale said.
He was finance director of Twentieth Century Fox's Australia & New Zealand business between 2009 and earlier this year. Before that, he worked at tobacco giant Philip Morris International Inc.
Twentieth Century Fox is part of US entertainment business Walt Disney Co.
MySale Chief Executive Carl Jackson commented: "We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mats as CFO and director of the board to MySale and look forward to working with him as part of our team as we continue to execute our 'ANZ First' strategy focused on our inventory-light marketplace platform."
Shares were 4.1% lower on Monday afternoon in London at a price of 3.50 pence each.
