MyCelx Hires Tenor Capital's Schnabl To Replace Non-Executive Griffith

LONDON (Alliance News) - MyCelx Technologies Corp on Tuesday said it appointed Andre Schnabl as a non-executive director.

The clean water technology company said Schnabl also will chair the board's Audit Committee and be the company's senior independent director, all from January 1.

Schnabl is the managing principal of boutique investment bank Tenor Capital Partners LLC. Prior to that, he was the managing partner of the Atlanta office of Grant Thornton LLP.

MyCelx said Swinton Griffith, a non-executive director and chair of the Audit Committee of since January 2012, will step down from this role following Schnabl's appointment.

"I would like to welcome Andre onto the board. After a distinguished career at Grant Thornton he brings considerable expertise to our team, and we look forward to his contribution in his role as chairman of the Audit Committee and in assisting the company's continuing growth and development," said Chairman Tim Eggar.

MyCelx shares were untraded on Tuesday, last closing at 189.50 pence each.
