LONDON (Alliance News) - Myanmar Strategic Holdings PLC said Friday it has been awarded a contract for providing security guarding services for the Singapore Embassy in Yangon, Myanmar.
Myanmar Strategic is a developer and manager of businesses in Myanmar.
The contract, achieved through the group's subsidiary EXERA Myanmar Ltd is for three years and has a total tendered price of USD478,329, with an extra USD182,521 should the contract be extended for one more year.
"Momentum is gradually building up as EXERA invests in and grows its bidding capabilities and while foreign and local investors continue to scale their presence in Myanmar and increasingly appreciate the need to protect their investments and their people," said Chief Executive Enrico Cesenni.
Shares in Myanmar Strategic were untraded on Friday, last quoted at USD9.00.
