Mpac Group Finance Head Jim Haughey Steps Down For Personal Reasons

3rd May 2018 17:46

LONDON (Alliance News) - Packaging company Mpac Group said on Thursday Head of Finance Jim Haughey is to leave the company for "personal reasons".

The group will start the search for a replacement immediately, while Haughey will retain his position for his six month notice period to ensure an orderly handover.

Two weeks ago, former Mpac Chairman Phil Moorhouse was replaced by Andrew Kitchingman after also stepping down for "personal reasons".

Chief Executive Tony Steels said: "Whilst it is disappointing to lose a member of the senior management team, we respect Jim's decision and wish him well for the future. We will commence a search process immediately and update shareholders in due course."

Shares in Mpac Group closed higher 0.7% at 217.50 pence on Thursday.
