LONDON (Alliance News) - Indonesia-focused palm oil producer MP Evans Group PLC said Wednesday its 2018 crop and production figures rose from the year prior.
In 2018, MP Evans generated a crop of fresh fruit bunches of 829,100 tonnes, up 27% from 654,100 tonnes the year prior. This was helped by its own crop rising 32% to 573,000 tonnes from 434,500 tonnes the year before.
Overall, crude palm oil production rose 25% to 192,500 tonnes from 154,000 tonnes the year prior. Meanwhile, palm kernel production expanded 30% to 43,500 tonnes from 33,500 tonnes the year before.
Shares in MP Evans were unchanged at 644.00 pence on Wednesday.
