(Alliance News) - Mountview Estates PLC said Monday a significant minority of shareholders have voted against the re-appointment of Non-Executive Directors Powell and Jarvis at a general meeting.
The property management company said 31% of shareholders voted against Powell and Jarvis's re-appointment, but the resolutions were passed.
"As communicated at the general meeting today, since the AGM the company has sought to engage with shareholders as to their views on the above re-appointments," Mountview said.
The company added: "The company is disappointed, that there was a significant minority vote (being more than 20%) against each of the resolutions. As we have done previously, we will continue to seek to engage with independent shareholders to take into account their concerns and considerations in the future."
Shares in Mountview Estates closed 2.2% higher in London on Monday at 11,600.00 pence each.
