Mountview Estates Chair Tony Solway To Step Down At March End

25th Feb 2019 14:31

LONDON (Alliance News) - Mountview Estates PLC said Monday that Tony Solway will step down as non-executive chair on March 31, in the light of the results of the voting at the company's shareholder meetings in 2018.

Tony Powell, currently a non-executive director, will become deputy chair with immediate effect and will assume the role of acting chair on Solway's departure pending the search for a suitable replacement, the company added.

Shareholders in August 2018 rejected the re-election of Solway and Powell to board. The company subsequently called another meeting in November and put forward resolutions to re-elect the duo, which was then passed by a around 60% shareholders, although a significant minority shareholders still rejected their appointments.

Shares in property management company were untraded at 9,750.00 pence each.
