LONDON (Alliance News) - Construction company Mountfield Group PLC on Tuesday said its building group arm business has been awarded a purchase order, valued at GBP440,000, to supply and install fire-rated plasterboard ceilings and associated works on a fit-out project in Slough.
Mountfield said its Mountfield Building Group Ltd business, which is a specialist in the installation of data centres, has been awarded the purchase order as part of the first phase works on the 10,000 square metre data fit-out project.
This comes a month after Mountfield said its Mounfield Building Group arm had secured works totalling GBP3.0 million and, on Tuesday, Mountfield said the GBP440,000 purchase order was in addition to the previously announced work.
Both the Slough fit-out and the GBP3.0 million of previously announced work are expected to be completed during 2016, Mountfield said.
Mountfield added that it expects to have further opportunities to undertake additional works as part of further phases of the works during the last quarter of 2016.
Shares in Mountfield were untraded on Tuesday, having last traded at 1.28 pence.
