LONDON (Alliance News) - Mountfield Group PLC Monday said it has received purchase orders for two refurbishment deals worth GBP2.5 million.
A contract to undertake refurbishment and fit-out works at an Aldwych office building in London, which was announced on June 7 as having a value of around GBP1 million, has been considerably extended both in terms of scope of works and value.
The value of the works being undertaken by Mountfield at the site currently amounts to GBP2.1 million and is expected to increase beyond that figure over the coming months, the company said.
In addition, Mountfield subsidiary Connaught Access Flooring Limited has received a new order on the same project for the supply and installation of raised access flooring, to be completed in 2013, with a value of around GBP400,000.
In early trading Monday, the construction firm's shares were up 10% at 2.56 pence.
