Motive Television To Meet Expectations, Narrow Operating Loss

17th Feb 2014 12:53

LONDON (Alliance News) - Motive Television PLC said Monday that it expects to meet market expectations for the financial year 2013, and post a narrowed operating loss as it saw better margins in its Digital business sector.

The company said that its Tablet Television product is on track for product and market testing in the US in Spring 2014. It expects to launch the product at the beginning of September 2014. In the UK the company expects to launch a tablet service providing free-to-air UK television service Freeview in co-operation with its partners iCube Ltd by June 2014.

Motive said it had continued to file for additional patents in the US and Europe to add to its portfolio during 2014.

In its Production division the company is continuing post-production on sports documentaries, 'The Long Walk' and 'The Notorious.' It has begun work on 'Doing Time: Prison Families,' '#broke,' and 'A Sporting Chance.'

Shares in Motive were trading down 2.9% at 0.0250 pence Monday morning.
