LONDON (Alliance News) - Motive Television PLC on Friday said its Motive Television Services Ltd subsidiary has amended its contract with Turkish broadcaster Digiturk to upgrade and extend its Content Express platform.
As a result of the changes, which will see Motive upgrade Digiturk's content to 4K, the contract between the two will be extended to 2016. In addition, Motive's licensing deal with set-top box maker Sagemcom will be extended to incorporate royalties on set-top boxes containing Motive's 4K technology.
Motive said the specific terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but it expects to generate GBP150,000 from the agreement.
Shares in Motive were up 2.7% to 0.0077 pence on Friday.
