LONDON (Alliance News) - Motive Television PLC said Tuesday it has signed two new production contracts worth a total of GBP307,200 via its Dublin-based television production subsidiary.
Motive expects to receive revenues from the contracts in the current year.
Motive will produce 'The Notorious - The Series', a sequel to 'Reality Bites: The Notorious', following the life of mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor. This series has been commissioned by free-to-air Irish channel RTÉ Two.
Additionally, it has begun principal photography on a second series of 'Prison Families', commissioned by Jeff Ford and Owen McCardle.
The company is also finishing up its new series '#Darndale - The Edge of Town' for TV3, a follow up to 'The Estate', exploring the community of Darndale in North Dublin.
Shares in Motive Television were trading up 4.2% at 0.0151 pence Tuesday morning.
