LONDON (Alliance News) - Motive Television PLC said Tuesday that Twin Peak SA has agreed a one-year renewable contract for their combined Motive Television and Twin Peak video service with ferry operator Attica Group.
Attica operates ferries in the Adriatic and Greek Domestic Sea. Under the deal a bring-your-own-device video service will be deployed on all Attica ferries, beginning next Friday.
Revenue from the contract will depend on the number of passengers buying the services, but Motive has made a "conservative forecast" of in the annual range of between EUR600,000 and EUR800,000.
"The BYOD solution is unique, highly efficient, and is receiving much interest among the ship operating and communications community worldwide. It is a highly scalable business for Motive and we expect more opportunities in the future," said Chief Executive Officer Leonard Fertig in a statement.
Shares in Motive are trading up 3.2% at 0.0129 pence Tuesday morning.
