LONDON (Alliance News) - Mosman Oil & Gas Wednesday said it has now completed site preparation for its first two wells on its drilling programme at the Petroleum Creek Project in New Zealand.
The New Zealand and Australia focused oil exploration and development company said it has prepared the Crossroads-1 and Crestal-1 sites for the arrival of the site's drilling rig and it continues to expect drilling to begin in June.
The company also noted that native title negotiations, as part of its application for the exploration area STP-EPA-0071 at the Officer Basin project in Australia, are progressing well.
It said that on May 5 and May 6, Mosman and other oil companies attended meetings with the Ngaanyatjarra Land Council, traditional owners and other relevant stakeholders, a key part of the application process.
Mosman Oil & Gas shares were down 15% to 11.00 pence Wednesday.
