LONDON (Alliance News) - Morgan Sindall Group PLC on Tuesday said it appointed David Lowden as a non-executive director effective September 10.
The FTSE 250-listed construction services company said Lowden currently chairs the board of the FTSE 250 recruitment firm PageGroup PLC. He also serves as a chair of the audit & risk committee at bookmaker William Hill PLC and recently stepped down as senior independent director from the board of textile maintenance services provider Berendsen PLC.
Prior to that, Lowden served as chief executive of marketing company Taylor Nelson Sofres PLC.
"We are delighted to welcome David to the board," said Cairman Michael Findlay.
"His extensive experience as both an executive and non-executive director of various successful companies will bring valuable knowledge and insight to board discussions," added Findlay.
Shares in Morgan Sindall were trading 2.9% higher on Tuesday at 1,436.00 pence each.
