(Alliance News) - Construction firm Morgan Sindall PLC said Monday it was appointed as development manager for the GBP650 million North West Quadrant urban regeneration development in Slough.
The North West Quadrant project in the Berkshire town is expected to provide 1,400 new homes as well as 250,000 square foot of commercial space, 45,000 square foot of leisure facilities, and 150,000 square foot of cultural facilities.
"We are delighted to have been appointed to develop the North West Quadrant, a further milestone in the group's close partnership with Slough Borough Council," Chief Executive Officer John Morgan said. "We have a strong track record working in partnership with Local Authorities to deliver large-scale, complex regeneration schemes."
In 2018, Rugby-based Morgan Sindall generated GBP80.6 million pretax profit on revenue of GBP2.97 billion.
Shares in Morgan Sindall were 0.8% higher at 1,338.00 pence in London on Monday.
