Moorhouse Steps Down As Mpac Chairman, Will Be Replaced By Kitchingman

19th Apr 2018 14:42

LONDON (Alliance News) - Packaging company Mpac Group PLC said Thursday Chairman Phil Moorhouse is to step down for "personal reasons".

Andrew Kitchingman will be taking over from Moorhouse starting from the end of the company's annual general meeting, which is taking place Thursday.

Mpac will begin the process of finding a non-executive director to fill Kitchingman's old post.

The company also said trading in its first quarter is ahead of last year and in line with the board's expectations.

Chief Executive Tony Steels commented: "On behalf of the board I would like to thank Phil for his key contribution to the strategic development of Mpac.

"On a personal level he has been a very supportive colleague and a great coach since I joined the company. We wish him all the best for the future. "

Shares in Mpac were down 0.6% at 222.75 pence each Thursday.
