LONDON (Alliance News) - Monitise PLC Monday said its Chief Information Officer will step down from the role and announced the departure of two board directors, whilst also naming a new head for its Americas business.
The mobile banking and payments service said Mike Keyworth would step down as CIO and from the board with immediate effect. He will remain with the company as a technology advisor. He has been with Monitise since 2004 and joined the board in 2012.
Elsewhere, senior independent non-executive directors David Dey will retire from the board of the company at its AGM in November. Victor Dahir, the nominated board director for Visa Inc, will stand down from his role also.
Separately, Mike Dreyer has been appointed as the president for the Americas business at Monitise. He is the former global head of technology for Visa Inc. and will report in his new role to Monitise Co-Chief Executive Elizabeth Buse.
Monitise shares opened up 1% to 49.5 pence on Monday.
