LONDON (Alliance News) - Monitise PLC Wednesday said that it has partnered with the International Business Machines Corp., as well as Card Services for Credit Unions, to develop additional services into the mobile marketplace.
Monitise said its partnered with IBM to help boost Visa Europe's ability to provide member banks with new mobile banking, payment and commerce services in the cloud for its customers.
It said that IBM will help it extend and scale the changes of these services with Visa Europe, while the new mobile services will allow customers to manage their money easier, make transactions and connect with relevant retailers from their mobile devices.
Monitise also said that it had entered a partnership with the credit-union card processing association, Card Services for Credit Unions, which will allow CSCU to offer Monitise's Bank Anywhere solution to more than 2,600 member credit unions.
Monitise shares were trading 7.1% higher early Wednesday at 49.25 pence per share.
