LONDON (Alliance News) - Payment services company MoneySwap PLC on Wednesday said it has signed a merchant agreement with Signet Trading Ltd, a subsidiary of UK-listed Signet Jewelers Ltd.
Under the deal, for which no financial details were disclosed, MoneySwap will allow Signet to accept UnionPay cards as an additional payment method. MoneySwap will get a percentage of the transaction value from all sales using UnionPay.
Signet is the operator of the H Samuel and Ernest Jones high street jewellery brands.
"We are delighted to welcome Signet amongst our growing customer base and enable it to accept UnionPay cards via the MoneySwap gateway in their 500 stores in the UK," said Richard Proska, MoneySwap's chief executive.
Shares in MoneySwap were untraded on Wednesday, having last traded at 0.860 pence.
