LONDON (Alliance News) - MoneySwap PLC Tuesday said it has signed a merchant agreement with Air Charter Service, enabling the aircraft chartering service to accept UnionPay bank cards.
"We are delighted to partner with ACS and enable it to accept payment via UnionPay cards, the largest bankcard in circulation in China, with over 800 million cardholders. This will make it easier for Chinese travellers to pay for charters with ACS and for ACS to better serve and accommodate its growing Chinese customer base," Richard Proksa, MoneySwap chief executive, said in a statement.
The deal follows MoneySwap's sales partnership agreement with payment services provider SoEasyPay in January.
Proksa said MoneySwap expects to secure similar agreements in the future, with discussion ongoing with other payment providers and UK merchants.
MoneySwap shares were untraded Tuesday; they were last quoted at 0.603 pence.
