LONDON (Alliance News) - Payments company MoneySwap PLC on Wednesday announced the appointments of a new chairman and a new chief executive with immediate effect.
Craig Niven, currently a non-executive director, will become chairman, while Yu Shu Fen, who joined the company as an executive director in November, will become chief executive officer.
Kung Min Lin, chairman and chief executive of MoneySwap, has stepped down as a director of the company, as has Richard Proksa, who had been chief executive until November, when he stepped down. Since then, Proska had been in the role of director and chief executive of the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa and the Americas operations.
Lin and Proksa both will continue to work with the company on a consultancy basis, with Lin to assist with fundraising activities and Proksa to help the company with its business development activities.
Shares in MoneySwap were up 45% on the news to 0.40 pence.
