LONDON (Alliance News) - Modern Water PLC said Tuesday that it has opened a new office in Shanghai.
The fresh water and water-quality technology company said the new office was part of its strategy to expand operations in China. The company was granted a business licence from the Shanghai Industrial and Commercial Administration Bureau a few days ago.
Last month, Modern Water said it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Beijing Green Science and Technology, to sell its heavy metal and toxicity monitoring products across mainland China, Hong Kong and the Chinese island of Macau.
Shares in Modern Water were trading down 0.35 pence at 36.15 pence Tuesday morning.
