Modern Water Installs Multiple Trace Metal Monitors In Argentina

17th Mar 2014 12:38

LONDON (Alliance News) - Water technology company Modern Water PLC Monday said it has installed multiple trace metal monitors in Argentina, after seeing increased demand in South America for its products.

The company, which develops and supplies systems for water monitoring, said it recently installed three trace metal monitors purchased by the Argentinian government, for a World Bank-funded river clean-up project in Buenos Aires. It said the trace metal monitors will monitor Hexavalent Chrome as part of the extensive Matanza-Riachuelo river clean-up scheme.

Trace metal monitoring is required across a variety of production facilities, including bottled water and brewing.

Modern Water said it also supplied its PDV6000ultra trace metal monitor to a number of companies, including food group Danone and brewing company Cervecería y Maltería, both of which use the monitor to ensure products are kept well below the World Health Organization guidelines.

Modern Water shares were down 2% or 0.75 pence Monday at 36.00 pence per share.
