LONDON (Alliance News) - Mobile Streams PLC on Tuesday said it engaged an expert local consultant to prepare for the launch of its mobile games services in Indonesia.
Mobile Streams shares were trading down 10% at 0.45 pence each.
Chief Executive Officer Simon Buckingham said: "Since the beginning of the financial year, the company has considered a number of markets to complement Latin America and India. We strongly believe that Indonesia, a sizable market with a population of over 250 million, provides the best opportunity to achieve positive results in both the short and long term."
Mobile Streams decided to partner with the local partner as it believes this "will facilitate the adoption of a mobile games service with local telecom operators quicker than a direct approach".
Additionally, Mobile Streams will also pursue direct agreements with telecom operators.
