(Alliance News) - Mobeus Income & Growth 2 VCT PLC on Friday last week confirmed the optional over-allotment facility of GBP5 million for its fund raise, taking the maximum amount that can be raised under the venture capital trust's proposed subscription to GBP20 million.
The investment company is seeking to raise GBP15 million for the 2020 tax year, with an over-allotment facility to raise a further GBP5 million, all by way of an offer for subscription.
Mobeus 2 VCT said it has seen strong demand from investors, with applications for subscriptions totalling in excess of GBP10.4 million as of Wednesday last week.
On Friday last week, the company confirmed that the optional over-allotment facility of GBP5 million will be used in relation to the subscription.
The offer will close at the end of March 2020, or earlier in the event that it becomes fully subscribed.
The stock was untraded in London on Tuesday, last closing at 84.50 pence a share.
