(Alliance News) - Mitie Group PLC on Friday said it has appointed Andrew Peeler, a former chief executive of parcel delivery company Yodel, as interim chief financial officer, effective December 9.
The facilities management company said Peeler will also join the company's board in January. Peeler replaces Paul Woolf, who will be leaving on January 28.
Mitie Chief Executive Phil Bentley said: "As Mitie moves into the second phase of its transformation strategy (which is focused on accelerated value creation), Andrew's skills will be of immense value to the group. I am very much looking forward to working with him as we drive the delivery of our transformation programme."
Mitie shares were up 1.4% at 132.16 pence each in London on Friday afternoon.
